Michelle Obama: Inaugural Ball
Okay. So, I have mixed feelings about this dress, but I LOVE that she chose a lesser known designer like Jason Wu.
I have a feeling she may not pick one specific designer, and if she does, I really don't think she will pick someone traditional like Chanel.
In a way, it's hard to pinpoint any trends in her style. She takes risks, she likes bold colors, and she likes her accessories to make a statement. In a way, it seems her style parallels the Obama approach. Different, risky, at times unconventional--but at the same time flawless, memorable, confident, and original.

Michelle Obama: Inauguration Day
It will probably one of the most memorable days of our lives. Those in the crowd in D.C. felt it, those at home, in classrooms, in offices...
Hope.
There were several pictures of Michelle, but I liked this one because it seems to be a very intimate moment. I was surprised she chose yellow, but I think it works. She looks very mod, particularly with the olive green gloves. (J.Crew) There is a rumor that after Sasha and Malia were seen in their J.Crew coats, the J. Crew website crashed because so many people tried to buy the same coats.
